The notion of Sanya Science and Education Innovation Park of Wuhan University of Technology (hereinafter referred to as the Park) was initiated in the Strategic Cooperation Agreement between WUT and the People's Government of Hainan Province. The concrete establishment of the Park was approved through the tripartite agreements among the People's Government of Sanya City, Investment Promotion Bureau for Hainan Development and Investment Co., and WUT. In November 2019, Sanya Science and Education Innovation Park of Wuhan University of Technology was registered as a legal entity in the Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City.

The Park has been planning to consist of 1 park, 2 institutes and 6 research centers, namely Sanya Graduate School of WUT, Sanya Research Institute of WUT, the Center of Marine Construction Material and Civil Engineering, the Center of Advanced Marine Material, Equipment and Technology, the Center of Green Ship & Ocean Equipment and Smart Port and Shipping, the Big Data Center of Ocean Engineering and Environmental, the Center of Cruise & Yacht and Cultural Creative Design, and the Center of Science in the South China Sea. At present, 21 teaching and research teams have been formulated, 3 of which have received the honor of the Hainan Excellent Talent Teams. The number of graduate enrollments is to be 2,000 with 618 admitted students over the past 3 years. A total area of the planning laboratories will cover 36,000 square meters, and the research instruments and equipment are worth 700 million RMB. And some labs have already been put into use.

1. Application requirements:

(1) To apply research and teaching positions, applicants shall have a doctorate or equivalent degree in relevant disciplines;
